Clock Rate Analysis

Computers store their data in Random Access Memory (RAM) to execute programs, and they are important to the speed of computers since a major time consumption of programs is waiting for data to be moved from one place to another. DDR4 and DDR5 RAM are 2 types of memory sticks that computers use to store their data when executing tasks. DDR5 is a newer generation of RAM sticks that recently became widely available. Our database tracks the performances of both these categories of memory sticks, so this visualization pulls that data and creates boxplots to summarize the minimum, maximum, and median speeds measured in MegaHertz. In this visualization, our API allowed us to better understand the differences in speeds from DDR4 to DDR5.
