SPEC2006 Parallelization

The Spec2006 benchmark data contains both floating-point and integer benchmark values; within these two categories, some of the benchmarks are also indicated as involving parallel processors or not. In this analysis, we want to compare the benchmarks that are parallel with those that are not. We start with the floating-point benchmark data. From this graphic we can see that the overall floating-point values each year have been increasing exponentially (note that the graph has a log scale along the y-axis), and that between the years of approximately 2012 and 2018 there have not been parallelized floating-point benchmark values. When we generate a visualization for the integer values, we find a very similar trend and situation.
